Nuk - be gone!

Great Grandma O. got Gracie these cute little marker dudes for Valentine's Day so we're getting into the arts and crafts. Sometimes, coloring is the only way to distract her from "Moove Moove Moove" which means Movie. I think I'm going to hide the TV.

Gracie says more new words everyday, and we're finally getting into the 2 syllable words. Just this morning I got her to say Happy, clear as a bell. (What a strange phrase, why not - clear as a cloudless sky or clear as my clean windows? Comment and give me more alternatives. Come on, it'll be fun!) No sentences yet, although, she does speak in full paragraphs worth with her own martian language.

Update!

Oops! Going on nearly a month without an update. Here's what's new in Gracieland...she says a lot of words, everything is "blue", she now says "yes" when I ask her if she loves me. But she also says "yes" if i ask her if she loves the couch so I don't feel that special for it. She looooooves movies and throws a fit if I don't let her watch one. And she's back to hating getting her diaper changed again which has resulted in a few "time-outs!" which has also resulted in a few accidents on the carpet in the corner. She has become a pro at going down the stairs in a normal standing position, although it still scares the crap out of me. She's a complete monkey and even climbs up on the kitchen table. After watching The Squid and the Whale, I thought of using the nickname "Pickle" but monkey suits her better.
